Drivers Education for teens
This course, commonly referred to as " Drivers Ed", is required for students ages 15 and 16 who wish to obtain a drivers license. Although not required, we recommend this course for all students under the age of 25. The course includes 8 hours of classroom training and 6 hours of behind the wheel driving. Drivers ed is designed to teach students the driving laws for South Carolina, defensive driving techniques, the dangers of driving while impaired, the dangers of texting while driving, and preparation for the license exam. All students who complete this course will receive an insurance discount certificate, and for student ages 15 and 16, the certificate that will allow them to try for a license(state certificate "PDLA").
